Just a couple of grad students who happen to share an interest in music. Creating original songs has become a release...as cliche as that must sound.

sope on a roap

thanks, kudos and appreciation must be sent via phonelines to paul van der sluijs for spending countless hours clearing the harddrive of the 'studio' (and for consuming tom's obscure brew inside the chapel). it looks as if this thing might happen afterall.

a true recording of "sweet honey"--or whatever we decide to call it--has become our primary focus. we hope to spend sunday creating something that can kick the record we posted to the intranet last week to the curb (hopefully a finished version - le one we put on the 'album').

until then i felt the need to share a trailer.

now, nothing can contest my most anticipated movie...maybe ever...tim burton's version of 'alison in wonderland,' which is coming out sometime next year...but this guy has me pretty excited. anyone my age who grew up reading the series (everyone?) should be able to appreciate the significance of what you're about to see. not to mention, one of the best band's of all time - the arcade fire - have provided the backing tuneage to the thing.

i don't care if it's a children's story, guess who's gonna be throwin' bows in the direction of little kids to get in to see this wonder of a film?

me.
