as far as material's concerned, we're where we were probably a month ago, which one might think would be disheartening, but there are no worries on our front. the summer is upon us and we're both motivated to get back to work. i think we're ready to shut up and complete this album.
we have quite the laundry list of short and long term goals for this little project, but for now we'll keep those to ourselves and have fun with it. hopefully by the end of the summer our finished product (an album) will be posted to our myspace.
one closing note: alex came up with yet another incredible melody over the weekend. he showed me tonight up in the piano dens of schauffler and i was beyond impressed. i think this track has the potential to be our album opener.
related - tonight i finished the lyrics for palmetto. we're revamping the song after we complete 'skipping rocks.'
